I think if you can't manage your own accounts, you don't deserve to be online and have those accounts. We're no Bieberheads, thank goodness.

I handle mine but am considering getting an assistant who is savvy about social networking. I'll still manage the content but having someone link all the sites and stay on top of the latest tech tricks would be worth it to me.

I do it myself.  I can't afford to pay someone to do social media/marketing ONLY for me.  And I don't want anyone putting out templated/form material that others are getting put out as well.  I want my marketing to be unique, and to be me...even if that's at the expense of participating as actively as I'd like.

I manage my own. Also, I don't think I'll ever get to that point. I feel as if social media should be an extension of who you are so your tweets, your thoughts, etc.

I manage all my social media accounts on my own. Its definately time consuming. I've backed off it quite a bit recently. Its important to utilize the social media that works best for your industry. I use FB, LinkedIn, Pinterest and AR. Everything else is so minimal that it doesn't provide actual benefit.

My admin does a lot of my social media - he is now specializing in the online marketing and internet presence for me

Dwayne, no I do all mine myself. But I do wonder what it would cost to have someone do it for me, as I am just curious what the cost would be.

I do my own. Lots of people have gotten into the social media account management business, and charge a variey of prices. You still have to be involved, and most are new to the business, and just bought some course and now they think they are qualified. I do know some I would trust to do it, but not sure it's worth spending the money.

I do my own social media content. I am hiring an expert to help me do strategic planning for my websites and for my social media presence.

All us, all the time.  I don't want someone else posting something on our behalf and them either being totally off base with the info, or someone calling and asking about something posted on our behalf and having a "Huh??? What are you talking about??" moment.

I do it myself but would not be opposed to putting it in the hands of someone else if they were the right person. Just haven't come across that person yet but to be honest, I am not looking.

Hi Dwayne. I know some people who delegate the task of maintaining the social media accounts for them. I do not do that simply because I do not want someone to abuse my accounts and post something that will stain my brand even though my brand is so tiny. For that reason I do it myself.

Wrong time to ask me that!!  I've just spent several hours on Facebook (@#$%&*) trying to figure some things out.

I do it myself and that way I know what is there at all times.

I do it myself, but its time consuming and a bit haphazard at times.  A social media manager would be good to keep you on target/time for posting to social media though.  I've thought about it, but I think they all charge way too much.

I do all my own stuff and it is tiresome but withing my budget! At this point I have been thinking about hiring someone help me some marketing but my incoming cash flow dictates how much I can spend.

I do much more of this than I should, would be wise to delegate more.
