Good answers here.
Frank Rubi, MBA ActiveRain has a program in place - however, reaching out them will make a big difference.
Just we need not over-do it to scare them away. Yes, we intend to help them and grow with us.
It is nice if we can call them .
Great idea I am in.
Good reminder, thanks!
Good suggestions here. My mentor is Praful Thakkar.
I miss Bob Stewart and his training classes and guest lecturers! WE NEED more! I've been blogging for a long time, but I still need to dial it in better. Please help me someone! :)
I got a call from Bob Stewart also, super nice guy. It was nice to receive some encouragement and a few tips.
We do reach out to call and I can say most don't answer and do not call back. I have also sent emails and some may respond but it is hit and miss. They have to want to be touched and you don't know which do and which don't.
Hi Frank --- it's nice if you are able to reach out to a new member. For me, it's a time issue. If you support them via comments on their posts or acknowledging them when they comment on yours' that's a good first step.
I've seen quite a few posts by members highlighting new or newer Rainers/Rainmakers and find those can be interesting as well as a nice thing to do.
#1. Follow or watch the 'First Timers' blog under the BLOGS pull down. Engage these NEWBIES.
#2. Ask them questions whose answers can be found in the 'Getting Started' selection found under the RESOURCES pull down.
#3. Be patient. Welcome young ideas even those that appear to contradict the well worn practices of the gray hairs.
#4. Listen well.
