Contact your sales rep and see if you can exchange for another code if there is one available you would consider. You will get a mixture of some junk with the good and decent leads. I’m sure the volume varies from one code to another as well. I have bought heavily over the years from Realtor.com but have just elected to drop the like a bad habit now that they jacked up the prices more than 250% in the suburbs of Chicago. Cannot possibly justify the expense anymore let alone make any money! Funny thing is The National Association of Realtors owns Realtor.com and is letting Move Inc rip us off to buy leads from our association owned site for less than $2,000,000.00 /year under a 5 year agreement. It sickens me to think how much they are making from us and our association dues investment in the site to help them charge extortionary rates for leads

Hi Sally, That happened to me too! I tried a zip code and only got the lowest end...with no real leads. I was very unhuappy and broke my agreement with them.

I pay for the enhanced Realtor.com and every once in ahwile a get a lead. Sorry to say but they are "bogus" leads. I am in NY. I also paid for leads in a zip code from Trulia. Waste of time and money for me. Leads are for mobile homes or buyers who are looking to find something for $20,000. I think I need to concentrate on getting more listings!

I paid Zillow to be Premier Agent with website plus a zipcode with 6000 thousands/mo impresson for 6 month, It was waste time and a lot of money, it didn't work. i got a lot of calling from people looking for rent $1200 or buying for less that $50,000. I suggest you Do not do it. I also tryied for 6 month target farming reports with a Company calling Agent Personal Assistant..again I spend a lot of money and I never received any call or nothing, all of these companies are there to suck our money...

Thank you for all the answers. This has given me some food for thought.

Unless $50,000 is the average price range in your area, I say cancel your agreement. I've partnered with Movoto Real Estate and I do get quite a few leads from them. There are mixed feelings by many agents about Movoto but you do not pay them an upfront fee - just a referral fee if it closes. Again, a lead is a lead and it involves a lot of follow up. The best lead source for me is my friends and family.

Buying leads may be one of the worst marketing investments for most agents. Generate your own leads for long term success.

One of my agents did and it was a bust for him...Buying leads is seldom a good idea. Money can be much better spent.

I've never purchased leads, zip codes, etc. I've always been reluctant to sign on to anything that's supposed to help my business seemingly with little or no effort on my part besides responding in five seconds or less.

I paid for the zip code that I live in several years ago, and nothing positive transpired. I stopped paying them after one year.
