I have been an agent for a long time just curious what others use to market their properties! I look for listings typically until May then switch over and begin to market for buyers! I have got a few leads from Trulia, but thought maybe if there was something better out there I would give it a shot!! Thanks for your input!

The best marketing stategy is the one that works for you.
The principles always work if you work the principles. Marketing stategies that fail do so because the agent could not cross the IDWDT barrier.
They ALL work, they just don't work for eveyone.
If a brand new agent (meaning an agent free of baggage) were to ask 'How?" I would assure them paritiy in marketing with the best in the area using clearly visiable and proven, inplace systems.
Or, I could advise that same agent all they need is FB to thrive.
Or, I could advise micro-mailing can result in 30 to 100 percent response rates when good copy is used.
It boils down to 'What are you willing to do?"
My advise to a newbie or an olden goldie is 'Don't be a pioneer and start inventing your own stuff." You can always tell who is a pioneer. The pioneer has arrows in the back and are laying facedown in the dirt.
Work within the known principles of effective marketing. They ALWAYS work.
Don't be a pioneer.

AR works great for me. In the last two weeks, I've gotten three leads. Two are hot to buy. It's also great to send out referrals, and I've done that.
