In my area, selling agents almost never call a listing agent to leave a feedback. Some listing agent do follow up on showings, but most of agents are too nice to tell the honest feedback or they just simply don't remember details( after showing 5 other properties).

I don't call, but I always respond when the listing agent asks for feedback on a property.

I don't call unless there is something wrong with the property like a leak n the basement. I try to respond to requests for feedback

I would if time wasn't so precious. I don't mind creating a working situation with other agents and they tend to appreciate this but time will not allow.

Frank Rubi - if my buyers have liked it and want to write an offer, I call the listing agent immediately. However, if not, I send the feedback later in the day.

The only time I volunteer feedback is if I walk in and found a burst pipe spouting water all over the place! Then I call from the house.

If the listing agent has been proactive, chatted with me and requested feed back I most certainly will prove my buyers evaluation and mine if wanted. If the request is via auto-responder email from the mls or showing service never, ever, ever.
An exception will be if I see potential hazard or damage I will notify the listing agent. For example, back door, front door or slider unlocked at my arrival, plumbing leak, storm caused damage, or evidence of unintended occupancy.

If the agent has to set up an appointment with a tenant, for example, I try to get back to the listing agent and tell them that they were very cooperative, didn't leave, place was a mess, etc. That's something that they should know. Generally, the listing agent knows what he's got and doesn't need me to stroke him. That would also not help my client if we are interested.

After a particularly successful day showing lots of houses, the listing agent call me to provide feedback. And I start with the buyer observation. The agent asks, "Did the buyer comment on whether to above ground pool should be removed?"
Opps, I gave you feedback on the wrong hours. Yours is #842. Here's the feed back your your listing. I would assume much of the email badgered feedback is FAULTY.

If the agent ask for feedback, yes please give it. When I was a buyers agent I always wrote down notes about each house for my memory but also if the listing agent asked for feedback. Now as a listing agent I rarely get feedback from buyers agents. Its frustrating, but I'm not surprised and have prepared my sellers for it.

We have an oautamted showing feedback so unless it is something of real importance no./

Port St Lucie, Yes I like feedback but my main concern here is not to violate our Code of Ethics. I will not and do not expect to place any client in a poor position to negotiate on the purchase of a home. My opinion on the property is all I'm willing to give and just that is what I expect from a professional Realtor.

We use Showing Desk which will prompt the agent for feedback. I give feedback that is good, bad and neutral. I think Professional agents give feedback - kind of like the golden rule....do unto others as you want done unto you. Don't you like getting feedback? It can help with price reductions, home clean up, etc.

Hi Frank, we have the "automatic" email we get after a showing from the showing service we schedule our showings with. It is set to send 4 emails (or unlimited emails) for the showing agent , asking for feedback. I try to give feedback same day or next day and limit my inbox !!! I do love receiving feedback when I have a listing so I try to always give it!

Hi Frank as Lise Howe and Patricia Kennedy replied --- unless there is some sort of red flag --- water leaking, intruders in a vacant house, something askew -- I don't call the listing agent. If they are interested in knowing my feedback, they can find me.
As Inna Ivchenko commented -- most feedback is not particularly helpful.

I don't call - only because time is so limited and valuable - but I always, always provide feedback to listing agents. It's something I want and "need" for my listings and certainly make sure to do the same for others. Now, obtaining feedback from showing agents on my own listings has been like pulling freaking teeth for some reason, which I don't quite understand. I can make 3-4 attempts (email, text, etc) and 95% get no reply. I haven't come across an agent yet that doesn't want/need showing feedback on their listings, so you'd think they'd show the same courtesy, but ...

I will call if there is a strong interest by my by client. If not, I normally wait for the feedback request from the listing agent. I do answer those surveys.

I thank the listing agent for showing property. If feedback is requested depending on buyer's interest I respond either:
1. Thank you for showing 123 Any Street. My buyers are still looking.
2. Thank you for showing 123 Any Street. My buyers have decided to move forward on another property.

First, the listing agent has to contact me for feedback. If they don't, it's not my job to contact them about their listings.
Second, we use a showing service, which emails requests for feedback. I might only call if four requests have been emailed and there's no response.

Virtually all listings have feedback to the agent thru emails...which we complete....conversation only when there is interest in writing an offer.

I usually email or else call if there was anything notable as far as feedback. And I always appreciate when I get feedback as the listing agent. Good or bad, it helps us help our clients!

we don't call them, as we have an automated system that bugs you my email until you give some feedback.

I think it depends on the situation. If the listing agents asks I think its important to answer but sometimes its just not what the buyer was looking for.

Not unless I have questions. Our Showing Service automatically sends out a request for feedback and I fill that out.
443,220
I will initiate a call if I have questions, or if my buyer is interested in the property. Otherwise, I wait for the listing agent to contact me.
3,988,138
Generally not unless they request it beforehand when I talked with them to set up the appointment. I do tryto fill out the email feedback forms to let them know the comments.

If an agent takes the time to send me something (automated or not) I will always reply. I agree with Frank that you should contact the agent if there is an issue (smell, safety issue, etc) and also that feedback should be careful, in case your client may be interested.
However, if beds weren't made, house dirty, key broken, etc., I will give that feedback, regardless. I reply with constructive criticism, if needed. I appreciate the feedback, so I find something may be helpful to others.
943,738
Actually, most agents have an automatic feedback form that I just fill out when I have returned from all the showings. But, If they don't I shoot them an email....more efficient that calling.

Alexandra, Absolutely in Commercial.
Jill, If ask I will give my opinion of the property.
Annette, I feel the same on the auto responder and will usually do the same not answer.
Thanks to all for your feedback.

Gabe, I feel that if there is some interest in the property I may be placing my client at a disadvantage. If there is some wrong like the house smell because of animal, then I feel I should mention that.
