Good question. I had reported those on Fri morning. I guess someone is asleep at the wheel.
BTW, I tried to comment on you cat post, but it wouldn't allow my comment to stick. I kept trying to refresh the page, but no luck.

Heh
Nice touch thanking them, Debbie Gartner
My hypothesis is they are seeking SEO by posting on active blog sites like this. They get extra-super-duper gold stars with mentions and links on 3rd party sites.

Alan,
I never liked SPAM growing up, and I like it even less now.

I just talked to our spam police. They are about to give our friend Manoj Kumar the boot!

Debbie - you're the second person to tell me they can't comment on my cat post.

Interesting theory, I aways thought that they were just trying to gain a few backlinks.

I see other people are having trouble posting too. Maybe my third attempt on this thread will actually post.
The best advice I can give is Never React to spammers. Simply delete them and move on. They're looking for a reaction. Don't encourage them.

Second attempt. The first one did not work.

In my opinion, spammers usually do it for two reasons.
1. Because they can.
2. To provoke a reaction.
So the best thing to do is never react. Just delete them and move on. We live in a world that apparently has millions of spammers. It's just part of doing business online.
P.S. I've noticed several of my recent comments did not post. I see others are having this trouble too.

Oh I left them a comment. I thanked them for the extra points I'll be getting for reporting the spam LOL.

Hi Alan -- I've thought the same ---- I mean the SPAM aspect not terrorism. They(or similar)comrades errr companies have been around for awhile. Now with Q/A they seem to be getting a bit more exposure although I don't recall ever seeing a comment.
