On occasion, I have gone back and updated. But usually not.

No, just write a new one with updated contest. Most blogs that were posted 2+ years ago have outdated links and information.

I will update and edit as I see the need for it. Sometimes I will go back and read one a week or more later, and find a glaring spelling error, or I will have some more information to add. I think it's a good idea to update. 

If I had a lot of information to update, I will do a different post and maybe link to the older one and reference that I'm providing updated information and have the older post link to the newer one with the updated information. 

I update and edit along the way - some blogs that need updated info (for example, pages with 2013 data, I'll just change to 2014 data) I'll edit the page rather than create a new one

Sometimes I go back and see a post I wrote a year or more ago, and know I can add more content and post again.  

I usually go back and tweek it some before I am finished with the blog.

I try to correct the typos and move on.

For some of my high priority posts, yes, I will go back and add as this helps w/ the SEO.  Certainly if there are errors I change.

Years ago, when I was learning SEO, I would go back and edit many posts based on my new learning & that seemed to help, too.

I never add anything to past blogs. The only reason to change/edit your post is if you had a grammar error or if you posted something that was incorrect.

I have added to posts, especially when I found links that I thought would be helpful to my audience, Doyle.

Always update if you find their is an error. But many times an older post is worth revising and reposting if the information is no longer relevant. 

I will update when it is really relavent.  If it is a major addition I will post a new blog and leave a link to the original

If something needs to be added or corrected, change it. Once you post your links to drive traffic I wouldnt really change anything. I normally save my stuff as a draft for a bit to see if something comes to me later that would be important to add.
