I prefer the color green now because so few use it, and I think that with more "green" homes being built, it might be the new red or blue!

There are a lot of studies about impact of color. Some say red is aggressive, but I think of it as a power color. People say blue is good. I always kid and say green is good, because it's the color of money. The big brokerages are often associated with color (KW=red/ReMax=blue/Century21=gold). I don't think there's a perfect answer.

I think, you choose colors you feel the most comfortable. In my business life, I wear a lot of black and white ( Black symbolizes Protection, Power, Elegance . Psychologically black means authority, power and control ~ never use only black.  White: new beginning, purity and simplicity.  For my stationary and signs I added silver( gray): associated with prestige and wealth.

There are a lot of great articles on meaning of colors for your business.

My thoughts are that many colors can work, though it's most important to be consistent throughout all of your marketing materials with colors.

I think it depends on the market & the agent.  Are you focused on Green in multiple aspects of your business?  Do you want to go high end and use colors associated with luxury?   I'm not sure there's one right answer.

Blue is usually considered trustworthy and calming. Red is bold. Yellow can either make you happy or angry (not sure I want to gamble with that - ha!). No matter the color theory, I think it's best to choose something that reflects your area of coverage. Then again, we've had a number of businesses in our area get attention from their main color being bright pink.
