John good question.... I have not other than freezing pipe reminders. I would love to see some scripts on how to use that info best to expand.
Living in an area hit by hurricanes, we often get questioned about flood zones and the size of storms by people moving in from out of town. We always direct them to local information sources, including coastal flood maps. We also supply a hurricane preparedness checklist every year via email/our website. We like to make sure they're prepared, but not alarmed, and we don't want to say anything that may be seen as anything more than an OPINION. If we make any claims to certain FACTS, it could bite us in the rear. It's just better to send them to the experts and let them form their own opinion.
I haven't but it's a good idea for another touch to our clients. We just had a blast of artic air here where it would have been good to send a friendly reminder to turn off outside hose bibs and do other maintenance things - especially for vacant properties. Thanks for the idea. Always need to be thinking how we can NATURALLY touch our clients, I think it makes it more meaningful.
Only if they ask.
I will if the subject comes up.
Not so much in our area, John.
I do not feel like this is part of a real estate agent's job.
