I love the 1 reblog per day for points limit. the one thing I would like to see improved/changed is more features. It seems we've been getting less and less and it feels a little like someone dropped the ball.

I also have to agree with Andrea...the little points for little things. I"m not sure I like that. I could have included that in my first comment, but that little box in the Q and A keeps getting in the way, and you can't see the other comments too well before you post your own comment. That floating box needs to GO BYE BYE. I really don't like that feature.

One thing I like most: the monthly break-down.
One thing I think needs improvement: there are a lot of little points for A LOT of different things. It's a bit overwhelming .. so much so that I conclude: whatever. I'll just keep doing what I've always done and not pay attention to it.

Gabe Sanders and suggestion for AR member's name to be included in spell check is great. Kerrie La Guardia can this be added?

Gabe Sanders following a member is a good idea - however, it may need advance programming skills to let you know when someone who you follow has posted a new blog.

I like that I can now see who is following me right in the point page.
I thought that 20 comments a day was a lot at times but ten seems so little now that we got used to the 20. Fifteen would be a nice compromise.

As a side note, I like that they took a big step in fixing this section to a) default to newest q's and b) organize the answers in chronological order.

I have many thoughts, but overall I like it.
I like that overall it rewards good content and the "bonus" pts come from others liking your content (which you can't control/game) (vs. before you could get pts just for liking answers on here.
I'm concerned that pts for only 10 comments per day will limit interactions and make it more challenging for newcomers to stick around. I do see both sides though.

Andrea Bedard good that I do not see some of those small activity points. And yes are right - it's simple but there are too many headings under which we could earn points.

Praful Thakkar I like the monthly break down too. I wish i wasnt as limited on comments or following people.

Oh, and one more little thing. I would like to have the ActiveRain spell checker be able to be updated to remember names for the members.

I would like to be able to subscribe to a person. Not just follow, so I would get an email whenever they have posted a new blog.
I would like to have the potential to comment for "members only" on any post and also a choice, for that member only, though I know I can email the member as well.

I was able to get points today only for 10 comments, even I checked much more blogs and left comments, i'm used to 20, did they cancel it?
Honestly, latest update did not do any good.

They need to change the number of point credited comments back to 20 per day. I think this really had more members involved and engaged. Also maybe the re blog points should be changed back to the old way. 10 per week. Because of re blogs, I found a lot of posts I may have missed.
As a side note...I'm not a big re blogger. I really don't do it, but I think it serves a purpose. Lately though I've been re blogging the posts to my contest, so you might see me re blogging more than I usually would.

One thing I liked most is - simplification.
One thing I think need improvement - No CAP on INVITE.

I seldom ask for improvements, best to not make changes, that is how things breakdown here.

Unfortunately i don't think the spell checker can be updated as this toolbar is taken from a company we subscribe to. I can look into it and see if the enhancement is available and if we could implement.

Debbie Laity re-blogging is just limited to one a day - gone are the days when I could re-blog 10/week (thus total loss of weekly points is 75!)
4,321,670
Debbie Laity floating box can go as you 'discard' the answer. You should still be able to answer - similar to when you comment on a post. (You get floating box because you click on 'ANSWER' - if you click on question, you'll not see that.)
4,321,670
Debbie Laity it seems 20 comments per day is a very popular request.....
4,321,670
Tammy Lankford 1 re-blog per day is a great improvement. In fact, I used to re-blog 10 good posts on last day of the week!
4,321,670
Inna Ivchenko you are right - we got used to 20 comments! Right now, reality is, you can still comment on 20 posts - however, you get points only for 10.
4,321,670
Debbie Gartner this is one step closer to what I thought was fair. 20 comments each day was surely more engaging, however, I spent lot more time on AR then.
4,321,670
Roy Kelley I believe point system is there for a reason - and I do know, it is not the best indicator of quality of the blogger. At least for now - it's here to stay and is clear'er'!
4,321,670
Silvia Dukes PA, REALTOR even I think we got spoiled when we were commenting on 20 - so 10 looks too little.
4,321,670
RVA HomePRO Michael Hottman monthly breakdown is a great feature. Tells you when you really relaxed and when you really worked hard on blogging.
8,077,157
I like the steps towards simplification. I wish they would go further and eliminate the points system which is not a valid indication of the quality of blogs or the success of the bloggers.
