I never thought of it either. I don't think, that AR has any limit on followers vs following.

Doyle,
I don't think there is a ratio per say. Do what pleases you, no one is judging here.

Gabe Sanders has provided some good advice. Do not worry about ratios. Currently, there is no disadvantage to following many bloggers. You can always change your mind in the future.

I don't think there is any right/wrong ratio. In terms of people to follow, follow those that you learn from, are inspired by and interact from. In general, having a variety is good and enough diversity and # to comment on. If you feel it's getting out of control, then pair back.
In terms of followers, that takes a while to build and it is typical for new AR members to have low #'s, but they build over time. Mine started out low, and now they are much higher, but it is a gradual process. Better not to focus on it, as it will happen gradually.

Nothing is set in stone, Doyle Lee Austin Davison Iv . I would recommend following those members who follow you and ones that comment regularly on your blog.

Doyle Lee Austin Davison Iv ideally 1:1 is the best - however there is no hard and fast rule for that.
