Well, I kept cropping and cropping and now it is better, but I am not sure why uploading a profile photo has to be such a hassle at ActiveRain. Other sites allow me to crop the picture as I want it right when I upload the photo.

I have a profile pic I use on all of my r.e. related business & when ar upgraded my pic was distorted... there seemed to be no way to fix it.
I ended up using a totally different profile pic than is on all my other outlets...
