Michael. A very interesting question. Unlike most real estate agents I did not "choose" my profession or brokerage ... I met my husband on an On-Line Christian Dateline service 21 years ago and he had just started 1 MONTH REALTY - 2-3 months prior. So I guess one would say, "I married INTO real estate". In summary, I chose my Husband and to be his Help Mate and the brokerage was one of the things - like family - that came with it.

I chose the most successful RE/MAX office in the county because I wanted a 100% commission deal. And, it was a very good decision. For me, I did not want to count on assistance from a broker. I wanted a successful working environment.
