Get to Know Derek Zahler
I am a California native. I grew up surfing the beaches around Newport Beach and later found myself playing the football field of the PAC 10 for the University of California at Berkeley.
After graduating from UC Berkeley I spent the beginning of my professional career as a Special Forces Intel sergeant for the US Army stationed in Okinawa, Japan. Since separating from active duty in 2009, I have working with in the residential real estate market in a variety of capacities. From social media management to the acquisition and resolution of distressed debt, I am always looking for creative ways to operate within the real estate market.
