Steve was the best advocate for my family that I could have asked for during this mortgage process and there were a few key things he did that I believe separate him from all his peers (also why someone should use him far above anyone else). First, Steve is available. That may sound obvious but he helped answer all my questions during our first call at 9PM at night. I called half-way expecting his voicemail and he ended up being able to walk me through the entire process of what I needed to send over. I'm busy with my kids until 9PM so this was huge for me. He subsequently always returned my calls and e-mails in a very timely basis which is huge when you have heavy questions on your mind during the process. Steve also moved mountains for me when I ran into a huge stumbling block with the buyers of our house wanting a new deck. He personally helped me find a banker to do an out of the box quickie loan to finance our new deck until closing which was VERY unconventional with what most banks are willing to do. We couldn't have done the deal without this. Lastly, Steve is very straight-forward in helping you understand what's behind the "green curtain" for how the mortgage numbers are calculated. He has really great technology which makes it easy to see what he's seeing and keep you in the loop of your bottom-line take-away numbers. Overall, I couldn't recommend Steve more to someone that's looking to have someone just not be an "order taker." Steve is a true partner, a straight shooter and someone that will help you have a smooth closing with no problems (which is what we all want)!

I had 3 weeks until closing and I was stuck with different loan officer. The experience with other loan officer was not very transparent. I then arranged a meeting with Steven. He said he can get everything ready for closing. He explain every single step needed toward closing clearly. Since the meeting, I knew Steven will be my loan officer. He was very clear with explanation and very open to every question I have. He is very quick to response to my question as well. I am very happy with everything.

Right from the start it was obvious that Steve had my best interests in mind. I've learned over the years that securing a mortgage sometimes brings minor glitches and additional requests from the lender. What made this experience so different was that rather than make excuses, Steve & Genny found solutions and went out of their way to work with them in a way that was the least inconvenient for me. Anyone can quote you a good rate, but that is meaningless if they can't make it all come together. I sincerely appreciate the great customer service and would recommend Steve without hesitation!

I was very happy with my entire experience in getting a mortgage through iLoan. We had completed a short sale a few years ago and supposedly did everything properly; but were unable to find lenders who understood that we were eligible to get an FHA mortgage. Steve understood the process and explained the details to us. When selecting a mortgage product, he set up a web conference to show us the many options we had available to us. We were able to select a 15 year mortgage that will end up saving us a lot of money. We are very happy with all of the interactions with the staff at iLoan during the entire process.
