My early life started as a young boy growing up in Vermont, very close to the canadian border. I recall wonderful times, frogs, wildlife and lots of snow! After 2 years in New York City, I landed in Tallahassee Florida where I attended through graduation from Florida State University. Several careers followed including retail management, food service management,health care services management with Marriott International. I then found excitement in real estate in 1997, then mortgage brokerage in 2003. Always interested in technology, I was a nerd with a "PDA" since 1988! It has served me well and led to management of a full service IT company in 2008.
Now, I pursue a diverse path in our ever changing world and am able to add value to many people in varied walks of life. In an effort to provide better education to REALTORS, I decided to become a licensed Georgia real estate instructor in 2009. I remain active is assisting buyers and sellers of both residential and commercial properties in both Georgia and South Carolina. I'm also excited about the latest developments in the new construction sector of our market in the Greater Augusta area as new builders challenge traditional methods and pricing structures. It's an exciting time to be in the real estate business!
Drew May grew up in Tallahassee, Florida and Graduated from Florida State University. His varied career paths included working for major national retailers in sales and management. In addition he worked over 10 years in Food and Facility Management for corporations including Marriott International. In 1997 he obtained his real estate salespersons license in Georgia and South Carolina and passed the Brokers exam in 1999 as well as becoming an Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR).
His passion for helping buyers, sellers and other real estate agents achieve their goals is undeniable. He has extensive experience obtained while being involved in many hundreds of transactions in the Greater Augusta real estate market and serves as Sales Manager and Associate Broker for the firm.
Drew has always had a personal interest in staying ahead of his peers in the technology areas of real estate. He was one of the very first Realtors to obtain the e-PRO 500 Technology Certified Designation. He has extensive knowledge with search engine optimization, Pocket PC and PDA applications, web based lead generation and contact management, digital photography, remote access and other related technology.
Drew is able to share his knowledge while helping other agents keep up with the rapidly changing technology climate. In the end, his goal is to assist other professional agents in building their personal business and help them use technology to provide improved service and increased productivity.
