The thing that probably most defines us is NO PRESSURE. We believe that is one of the most important attributes of a good Realtor consultant. We'll help you every step of the way with whatever you are looking to do, but will not pressure you to buy or sell and won't pressure you to do anything other than what you want to do when you want to do it.
We were born and raised in Anne Arundel County so are very familiar with the area. We currently live in Crofton, minutes from our RE/MAX Executive office in Millersville, Maryland. Our three children graduated from South River High School and participated in local sports. Dave coached football and lacrosse for 10 years and is a member of Crofton Country Club and where he golfs with his regular group of friends as well as business associates and other members. We've recently become boat owners and enjoy visiting all of the many nooks and crannies around the Chesapeake Bay. Did you know the Chesapeake is the largest estuary in the United States?
We're a very busy family but never too busy for our clients. We'll treat you well and work around your schedule. That's why we are both Realtors, so we have the flexibility to be there for you when you need us. Buying or selling a home is one of the biggest financial transactions most people make and we know it's very important to have access to your Realtor when you need them!
Our oldest daughter Tori helps her husband run his company, Carson Plumbing in Severn. Paul is an excellent plumber and his rates are very competititve. David Jr. just joined our team as a Realtor and is expanding our social media reach, helping with open houses, staging, and touring homes with buyers and tenants. Our youngest, Alex, graduated from University of Maryland with a degree in economics and is a Licensed Mortgage Loan Originator who can help you get pre-qualifed to buy your home or refinance your existing mortgage.
Many of our former "clients" have truly become friends. We spend so much time together and find that we'll click, stay in touch, and attend events and social gatherings with our new friends. Or strictly business if that's what you prefer!
We enjoy helping first-time buyers purchase their own homes. From start to finish, we discuss choosing the neighborhood, home values, mortgages, etc. We take care of every detail from getting the buyer pre-approved, identifying homes that might be of interest, touring the homes, negotiating to get the very best deal, many times including getting closing costs paid, coordinating inspections, title work, and every little detail between the buyers and sellers to make sure the purchase goes through smoothly. When we act as a buyer's agent, the seller is the one who pays us so this service doesn't cost you anything.
We help people who are relocating into Maryland, communicating through e-mail as necessary (important when client is overseas in a way different time zone), identifying and e-mailing properties that might be of interest, identifying neighborhood possibilities, getting them pre-approved from a distance with a good lender, etc. We work with many miliary families who are moving into the area around Fort Meade, the Annapolis Naval Station, and Andrews Air Force Base.
We also help people who are moving up, from one home to the next or downsizing. This involves our intense marketing campaign while selling the existing home, coordination of settlement times, possible "bridge" loans, and many other choices and details that need to be make.
Many investors like to have us help them identify potential properties for them to purchase. We subscribe to specialty commercial multiple-list systems as well as the standard MRIS multiple list system. This allows us to find everything that is available for sale that is advertised. Most of these investments do offer a co-op commission so our helping you in your purchase is paid for by the seller. In addition, we have connections where we will hear of investments before they are advertised for sale. We can find good residential investments from townhomes to apartment buildings, retail shopping centers, restaurants, convenience stores, land, established businesses - just about anything you might be interested in. We work with several good lenders to help you get financing.

|I wanted to write a note saying thank you once again for all of your help with the sale of my condo and purchase of our new home. It has been a huge relief getting out of that cramped condo located in a questionable area. I was outside last night weeding the garden, feeling totally safe in our new county. Over the last week we have been painting, decorating, and installing to make the house our own. Of course it is a work in progress but we are truly enjoying it. We put your gift card to use at Lowe’s, which was a daily errand during that first weekend :-) I will send pictures soon.|
