I began my career in real estate after 13 years in the banking industry, for one bank.  I spent 9 of those years as a loan officer and the rest as a branch manager.  My true calling was the real estate lending, which is what drove me to became an agent, managing just wasn't my cup of tea.  I am a single mom with 2 boys, one is 19 and the other is 6 yrs old.  Yes, I waited a long time!  Being the only income for my family, I have recenty taken a job with a title company as a closing agent.
