I was raised in Chesapeake, VA, near Virginia Beach, where all of my family still lives. After college at The College of Notre Dame of Maryland, I married my husband and became a leasing consultant for apartment communities in the Tidewater area.
I helped people through the process of finding their perfect apartment, completing the paperwork to secure that apartment and with any issues that came up while they were living in our communities. I was quickly promoted through the company to Community Manager and worked with all aspects of the apartment communities, including marketing, new construction, leasing issues, customer service, landscaping, maintenance, and budgets.
When our first child was born, I became a stay at home mom and loved it! After our second child, my husband was offered an awesome job in Raleigh. Always up for an adventure, we decided to move.
During our trips to learn about the area, we toured Cary, Apex, Raleigh, Fuquay Varina, Holly Springs and many other areas of Wake County. We fell in love with Holly Springs.
Once we were settled here and had the kids in school, I decided to work part-time for a top Realtor in North Raleigh. Using my background in rentals, I did marketing, and paperwork. I decided to get my real estate license to become her buyer's agent. I enjoyed working with this agent and learned so much about real estate.
I joined Weichert, Realtors - Triangle Homes to expand my business to the southwest Wake area.

I have worked hard to stay up with the latest in the real estate industry, from technology to the state of the market to the best ways to help my clients. Throughout my career, I have taken a number of classes and received a few designations.
WRRI Relocation Specialist - I have the expertise to work with any company to help their employees move to or from the Triangle. Relocation packages are all different, and I can work with any buyer or seller to be sure each area of their relocation goes smoothly.
ePRO - This designation has allowed me to expand my technology expertise. I have also continued to stay current on the latest in internet marketing to get your house sold, or find the perfect next home for you.
ABR - The Accredited Buyer Representative designation allows me to be an advocate for the buyer, just as the listing agent is an advocate to the seller. I believe in consumer advocacy and having the ABR designation has helped me be a better buyer's agent.
There are many more trainings and Continuing Education classes I have taken in my real estate career. Each gives me a little more knowledge and helps me stay current in this ever changing environment.
