Metro Brokers was started with one office and a handful of sales associates in 1979 by John Hartrampf. More than 25 years later, Metro Brokers is one of the nation's largest full service real estate companies and the world's largest GMAC Real Estate franchise.


Under the leadership of Kevin Levent, who became President and CEO in 1996, the company has experienced exponential sales growth facilitated by the addition of nearly 2,000 new sales associates. Levent is considered a visionary by employees and sales associates alike, especially in the area of technology. He is also responsible for designing the most exciting new real estate offices in the South, featuring custom Italian light fixtures, modern art and furniture, loft style exposed rafters and ceiling conduits, eliptical coffee bars and private listing showrooms.


In June 2000, Levent hired Joe Dabbs as the company's Vice President of Operations. A 30-year veteran of the real estate industry and the former owner of one of the nation's largest real estate companies, Dabbs is responsible for recruiting and retention of new sales associates and instituting dozens of training programs to help those sales associates find success in real estate. He also founded the company's highly successful real estate academy which is now one of the largest in Georgia.

Another key decision by Levent was Metro Brokers' affiliation with GMAC Real Estate in 2001. While Metro Brokers remains an indepently owned and operated company, our affiliation with GMAC Real Estate has translated into increased brand name recognition in Atlanta and throughout the country. In 2000, became the fastest growing residential real estate company in metro Atlanta, growing 8.8% vs. an average market share loss of 3.6% by the competition. In 2001, became the largest GMAC Real Estate franchise in the U.S. (units sold). In 2002, became the first and only Atlanta real estate company to successfully manage the migration process of both MLS' to the company website with photos and no data duplication. In 2004, became the largest license holder in the state of Georgia with almost 2,100 licensees. In 2004, Metro Brokers' real estate sales volume reached $2 + billion. In 2005 Metro Brokers' commercial real estate division ranks among the top 15 in metro Atlanta. In 2005, named the fastest growing real estate company for the fifth consecutive year. All other companies in the top five show negative market share growth for the last five years. In 2006, hired our 2,900th sales associate and opened our 23rd office in metro Atlanta and north Georgia.

 

About Me

I'm a native New Yorker who moved to the Metro Atlanta area in 2004 seeking a change of pace and working towards fully developing a career in Real Estate. I have had opportunities to see alot of what Atlanta has to offer. It's a beautiful place to live and raise children. Full of very convenient shopping and good entertainment for all age brackets.

Joining Metro Brokers/GMAC Real Estate has been a positive and enlightening experience. Their extensive training, mentoring and support systems have helped shape many lives.

I'm currently Certified in, Elegant Homes, New Homes Sales, Premier Service and Agent Recruiting. I'm an active member of the Local, State and National Association of Realtors.

My job is to educate the public and guide my clients so that they can make wise, informed decisions that will shape their futures and better their lifestyles.
