The following was recently written by the head of Rock Financial, David Hall.

Please take the time to help me to Congratulate Sara Young on her 14th Anniversary with Rock Financial! On this big day, let me give you a little background on Sara Young… Sara started with Rock Financial 14 years ago today.  She came to Rock Financial right out of Western Michigan University and began her career as a processor......soon after she became a Mortgage Banker.  It didn’t take long for her to accomplish her goals of becoming one of the top Mortgage Bankers in the company.  She has been one of the top mortgage bankers for over 10 years and she is also a top President’s Club Banker (most coveted position in the Company).  A lot of what I know about the business I learned from Sara.  She taught me the importance of actually getting the documents from the clients and making sure they were somewhat qualified before we turned in the application.   We worked so well together that in 1997 we decided to team up and grow our business together.   I am very thankful for everything that Sara did to help me grow my career.  9 years later we still work together and she is still one step ahead of me most of the time.  I knew very little about the business when I started and needed A LOT of coaching...she never hesitated to try to help me to become a better banker.  It was fun to learn the business with her guidance and rise to the top of the slugging report (she did most of the work).   I got a lot of credit over the years but Sara (and Jason) both were very instrumental in our success with far less credit than they deserved.   Sara is someone that embodies the ISM “every client, every time, no exceptions, no excuses”...she is very passionate about her clients and they come back to her and refer her business over and over again. Thank you Sara for all that you do every day for the Troy Branch and for our Company!!!
