I have my master's degree in Counseling and worked at NC State University before deciding to stay home when my first daughter was born. I ended up getting my real estate license in 2006 after a terrible experience with selling our first home. I believed I could do a better job and make the stressful experience of buying a home a bit easier. My counseling degree has certainly come in handy throughout my real estate career. I offer my clients 1 percent of the purchase price back at closing provided their lender approves and it is on the HUD closing statement. I do this because I feel that buyer's work VERY hard in finding their first home, and they deserve something for those efforts as well!
After having my real estate license for two years I decided to work with buyers exclusively. I enjoy looking at homes and helping buyers decide which home would work best for them. I am in business for myself and that allows me to concentrate on my clients exclusively!
