Talking about myself has never been something that comes easily. So this is a rather difficult task. Because I have never been comfortable with this, I make my resume accessible to my clients, and have built my business by listening to them. After all, there isn't much in this world that is all about me or even about me at all! I think I have had a pretty amazing life by working hard & enjoying as much as possible, even those times and events that unnerve me.
I came into real estate by accident. I was a high school teacher for 15 years. I was fortunate enough to be able to do my student teaching outside of London, England at The Royal Russell School. That semester I traveled England and Scotland as much as possible.
I have been a real estate agent ever since 2001 when I quit teaching to spend more time with family. I get to work with some amazing people, and get to meet new people all the time.
I love to read non-fiction books, play with my dogs and to make things grow.
I have three wonderful dogs, who love to play fetch and swim. We live at a lake which is beautiful no matter what the season. Probably the coolest thing I have ever seen in my life was watching the lake freeze one night when the wind stopped blowing. In about an hour I watched the ice form beginning at the edges and moving toward the middle.
Most of my business comes from referrals from past clients and I am both grateful and humbled by how they have helped my business grow every year. Even as our office grows (now to over 240 agents), my past clients have helped keep me in the top 5%.
I am a Certified Senior Housing Professional and the course work and webinars have helped me understand some of the challenges that Senior Adults face daily. Never believing that education is a subsitute for experience, I do believe that education and experience together and used for the good of others can be never be beaten. So to help an underserved and growing population, I was fortunate to find this training and certification.
That's about it. That's me. Thank you all.

|Suzie was absolutely amazing. She immediately made us feel comfortable and turned the stressful process of buying a new home into a fun adventure. After showing us a few homes, she intuitively knew exactly what we needed to make a house feel like home. When we asked questions about the details of a new town, she never hesitated to find an answer and didn't make us feel as if we were wasting her time by asking. Suzie was so responsive to our needs, we honestly feel like we made a friend rather than hired a real estate agent. We would highly recommend Suzie to anyone in need of real estate assistance.
|Suzie made the unknown of having to unexpectantly leave your home behind and move to whole different state bearable. Buying and selling has always been a romantic notion to us...We had the home we sold with Suzie built after our marriage 15 years ago with plans of having our 4 children and hopefully grandchildren both be in that home. We weren't planning to sale, so it is a good thing we had Suzie, there was so much else to do with the move, schools, doctors, a new job, etc. that Suzie kept the selling part totally under control. We felt safe leaving the home knowing full well that Suzie would have it sold!!! She is motivated, organized, connected, very knowledgeable, in control and very calm and caring too. Suzie was always available to us and nothing was a silly question. Suzie worked hard communicating with other realtors interested in our home and with the final buyers agent. Suzie and her team were on top of all the paperwork, communication and you never felt you were left behind or missing something. We hated to sell our family home, but loved that it was Suzie who sold it and kept us sane through it all! Thank you Suzie!
