Get to Know Susan Jacobsen
The basics.....
A native Ohio Buckeye, but having lived in numerous states, I know how important it is to be able to trust someone and to depend upon someone with knowledge of the local area. Having lived in the lowcountry of South Carolina for 21 years, the ebb and flow of the tides is now deeply ingrained in my psyche. Happy to share the allure of the lowcountry, I have matched up folks with their lowcountry dreams for the last twelve years.
Having bought and sold many properties, I began my career determined to bring honesty to all of my clients and to provide information not just about real estate but about their new city, state, and community. Since our area is so diverse and has primarily been a vacation destination, there are quite a few nuances that I try to convey to folks. Many people have vacationed here but need a guiding hand when they move to their dream home.
I pride myself on discretion, confidentiality, and tenaciousness. Clients appreciate my in-depth analysis of property choices, the ability to stay focused on their goals over long periods of time, as well as my ability to anticipate needs.

In addition to my own personal commitment to education and excellence, I have served as both Chair of our local association Legislative Committee and as a State Director.
I am proud to say that I also hold the Resort & Second-Home Property Specialist designation. In our area there are only a small handful of agents who have attained this level of commitment and in the country with over 1 million Realtors, there are only a few over 300 of us! The networking this provides for my customers and clients is a tremendous asset.
I love learning and it's important to know the natural environment of the area in which I'm selling - to that end, I completed the Master Naturalist training program through the Clemson Extension program and love to share what I've learned about this amazing place that I call - and perhaps you'll call - home!
