Get to Know Sibley Poland

Knox County REALTOR® since 2004, Sibley Poland offers her clients expertise, professionalism, and unmatched enthusiasm for helping them reach their real estate goals.

Sibley started selling real estate as "something to do" while gaining the final credits for a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration back in 2004. Having worked in accounting and office management, she planned to become a Certified Public Account.

All that changed when she unexpectedly fell in love with real estate. While she did earn that degree, she didn't pursue a career in accounting. Instead, she uses her financial expertise to help Knox County buyers and sellers understand both their paperwork and the financial significance of their decisions.

Sibley has worked with hundreds of buyers sellers since 2004 and as an active member of the Knox County Chamber of Commerce, she stays informed of local issues and new developments. Because Internet marketing and electronic communications have become so important to real estate, Sibley kept studying. She earned the e-Pro designation to make full use of the technological tools available for marketing her listings. She also uses electronic signature software as a convenience to her clients. And… because she wanted to better assist veterans and active duty military in their quests to own a home, she earned the MiRES designation to gain understanding of the VA loan process and requirements.

In addition to these skills, Sibley brings her clients the benefit of personal experience in buying and selling homes, in building a new home, in re-habbing historic homes, and in owning rental properties. She's always glad to share the knowledge she's gained through these experiences and thoroughly enjoys helping sellers stage and prepare their homes to command top dollar in the Knox County market.

Born and raised in Knox County, she also shares her extensive knowledge of the area, from the real estate markets in each town, to the best person to call for a repair job, and where to go for a fine meal.

Because Sibley wants each of her clients to be perfectly satisfied with the outcome of their transactions, her service begins with asking questions and taking time to listen to the answers. She feels that understanding a client's lifestyle, interests, and goals helps her provide the service they want and need.

Timely communication is always a given, and Sibley is happy to use whatever means of communication the client prefers.

When not busy serving Knox County buyers and sellers, Sibley loves to head down the highway on her BMW motorcycle. She loves long distance rides, and has ridden with friends to BMW rallies in places as far away as Colorado, Wyoming, and Montana and considers the BMW riding community her life beyond real estate.   Of course she doesn't forget her two household companions, Baby Kitty and Little Gray Kitty, both rescues.

When you love your work, it shows in the results you get for your clients, and Knox County REALTOR® Sibley Poland loves her work. When you're ready to buy or sell, call her. She'll work tirelessly to turn your real estate goals into reality.
