I've been in the mortgage industry for over 30 years. I started my career right out of college at a local savings and loan in New Orleans, LA as a loan processor and then a loan officer. Then I went to work for PMI Mortgage Insurance Company as an account executive covering the whole state of Louisiana until the mid 1980's. At that time I was transferred to Nashville to cover the state of Tennessee. After I left PMI, I went to work for several wholesale lenders as an account executive. I called on lenders and brokers throughout the state for the past 14 years. After the last 5 companys I worked for closed down I decided to change directions. I've come full circle!

I specialize in FHA 203k loans . Primary Residential is one of only a handful of lenders that offer the FHA 203k loan program statewide. We are seeing a resurgence of interest in the 203k lately. While we're not really sure why, we speculate that the reason is probably due to the fact that there are more foreclosed properties available now than before. The FHA 203k allows the buyer to include the cost of repairs and/or renovations in their mortgage. The work is done after closing. Because there is some additional paperwork involved in this loan, it generally only takes approximately 45-60 days to closing. This program is only available for owner occupants and is capped by the county FHA loan limits.
