 As a Pac NW native, I feel very fortunate to live in such a veritable outdoor activity 'mecca' as this  Wenatchee area (including Leavenworth, Cashmere and Lake Chelan).   With so many beautiful, sunny days out here,  and being nestled up to the eastern side of the Cascade Mountains at the confluence of the Columbia and Wenatchee Rivers,  it has attracted many outdoor enthusiasts to live and/or recreate here, accounting for much healthy growth and vitality to the area.   If your interested in hiking, camping, fishing, water or snow skiing, white-water rafting or kayaking, canoeing, rowing or just would like a pleasant, unhurried place to be 'catchin' some rays', this is a great area to live.

As a business owner for 20 years in manufacturing and marketing (recreational rowing craft, both  exercise and touring models, singles and doubles) I ran every facet of the business, from working in the manufacturing end of it, to running the office, managing employees, handling payroll, along with customer relations and marketing, shipping, etc.   You name it, I at one time or another, did it.   It was the type of business that was very seasonal, and anything but recession-proof.    So naturally, I'm well-disposed to the ups and downs of the real estate business, where there are no guarantees... it's seasonal, cyclical, and definitely not recession-proof.   Many were the days that I toiled sun-up to 'the witching hour' (somewhere approaching a blurry midnight) to get the job done and deliverable.

And I bring this same work ethic and determination to my real estate profession.    I work long and hard to make sure that my clients' needs are met and expectations exceeded.   Because I am a career agent, I realize that I'm only as good as the least-satisfied of my clients... my career flourishes on the basis of the level of satisfaction my efforts produce.   My guarantee of excellent service to my clients drives me to produce that level of satisfaction for every client I'm privileged to serve.  

It's a great enterprise to be at the fulcrum of the most important buying or selling decision most people ever make.  So I never take anything for granted, 'go through the motions', because I know how much is at stake if even some 'small' detail is ignored.  I'm a 'stickler' for detail, but I do enjoy my work as well.

I specialize in 'affordable' homes in the $150,000 to $300,000 price range.  I also am able to work with a company which specializes in helping sellers who have homes they owe more on than what they can get in today's marketplace (they're called 'short sales').  Many times, we can optimize their situation and bring the sale in where it costs them little or nothing to get out from their situation with the lender, saving their credit the devastating 'hit' of a foreclosure.

I also have worked with many buyers, showing them homes in order to find the home of their dreams.  Although I'm a 'full-service' agent, as their 'buyer agent', for any listed home (regardless of the listing agent or office) I charge no fee to my clients for assisting them, nor do I try to obligate or 'pressure' them into a purchase (after all, they are the ones who'll be living in it).  

I work a little more unconventionally than many agents do, primarily because I want my services to go above and beyond what is generally thought of as acceptable.   As a full-service agent and Realtor, you can expect an above-average level of  service and attention to detail.  After all, neglect and lack of knowledge are the two greatest causes of lawsuits springing up over real estate transactions.  I keep myself constantly updated with current changes in the laws and regulations for my clients, and pay painstaking attention to every detail of a transaction on behalf of my clients best interests.   

For both buyers and sellers, my services include every aspect of the transaction: from searching the multiple listings according to my clients objectives, doing comparative market analysis (similar to an appraisal), giving a detailed, in-depth initial consultation (wherein I explain every aspect of the home-buying or home-selling process and exactly how I work, as well as gather much-needed info from my client), to doing exceptional multi-media marketing, writing offers and counter-offers, negotiating the price and terms of the purchase, to making sure that the inspections and repairs are satisfactorily completed, arranging for the appraisal, and monitoring the closing process through a smooth and timely closing.
