| I have known Sherry for 10 years. She helped me buy my rental property 10 years ago and also helped me find renters over the years. She has always been extremely honest, hard working and helpful. When I decided to sell my rental property, I turned to her and she has made the job of selling my house really effortless. She has always offered to be at the house when I needed repair work for the house during escrow for my convenience. She has run house related errands for me. | I usually don’t write reviews but I wanted to take some time and write a few nice things about Sherry Swift. During our house hunt, she spent a lot of time with us showing us a number of different houses in a number of different areas. For every house we looked at, she gave us very honest and helpful feedback. Of the houses we did like, she fought tooth and nail for us on every offer we wrote. Only 3 offers in, we found the perfect house! Despite having an absent minded realtor on the other side and a difficult owner, she skillfully navigated the sale and successfully negotiated everything we wanted from the transaction. | There are many reasons why we are very thankful we had Sherry Swift for our realtor. First, she really got to know us and know what exactly we were looking for in a home. Second, when we would go look at a home we would have open, honest discussions with her about if the home met our needs. She never told us something that we wanted to hear just to try and make a sale. Third, she was persistent where she needed to be. We were not able to get in to preview a home which we really liked because the renters would not let us in. She was persistent with the real estate agent because she thought it would be a good match for us and eventually we were able to see it and it ended up being the home we purchased. The other real estate agent told us that it was Sherry’s persistence that really made a difference in us being the first to see the house. Fourth, she is very knowledgeable about the locations she specializes in. The appraisal came in on the house we were selling and it was way lower than the sales price. Instead of just telling us that the sales price needed to change, she went back and reviewed the appraisal in depth. Her knowledge of Aliso Viejo and the Victoria tract specifically made her realize that the appraiser had made some crucial mistakes. She had a long discussion with him and he went back and increased the appraised value by $18,000! | During our quest to purchase a new home during the fall of 2011, our real estate agent Sherry Swift did an outstanding job of helping through this arduous process. A key element in our finding our “dream home” was Sherry’s availability through constant communication via the telephone. This is important because it shows her capacity for accessibility, as she demonstrated an ability to remain flexible, despite the limits on her time and demands on her schedule. Sherry is very professional in that, her studious research of real estate locations helped determine whether the homes we viewed fit our budget, met our needs, and reflected our desire for a safe and aesthetically appealing community. When we failed to find a home that met our needs, she went beyond her job requirements to ensure we persevered in our goal of finding our ideal home. After viewing houses advertised on line, which did not fit our criteria, Sherry knocked on doors in neighborhoods as a means to discover potential sellers; this led us to better locations and ultimately our current new residence. While finding your dream home merits great accolades for a successful real estate agent, it is equally important to help guide the buyer in selling their former residence. Again, Sherry shined in this endeavor. After two potential buyers reconsidered purchasing our townhouse, she remained a voice of reason when we lost hope of selling our home in order to move into our new house. Again, her professionalism manifested through her research of comparable homes in our neighborhood to determine a fair and equitable price for our townhouse. She also proved indefatigable in ensuring that we found the right buyer and negotiate a reasonable deal.
