Shaylene Neumann began her career in real estate in 1991 with Neumann Real Estate, a family-owned and operated business. At that time, she was involved in all of the relocation and IT segments of the business, as well as all of the finances for the company that was originally started by her parents, Harry and Lorraine Neumann, in 1969.

In June 2005, Shaylene and her four brothers bought the company and she became a full-time licensed Realtor in both New York and Connecticut. Today, the five of them are partners in the business.

She personally feels it is very important that her real estate clients are happy. The skillset needed for selling a home is much different than that of purchasing a residence. It is very important to know how to navigate both to a successful transaction.

“I view my clients as guests, and my approach is simple, I do not push my clients when selling or purchasing a home. Selling a home can be very emotional and my job is to be sensitive to their feelings and I understand how difficult it is. I want my buyers to love their home and be happy with their investment.” What sets her apart from others in the business is her integrity and honesty which, in turn, leads to a strong work ethic which is validated by her character. Her interpersonal skills followed by marketing and technology skills and overall knowledge of the communities are among what she feels are her best buying and selling skills.

Shaylene grew up in Ridgefield, Connecticut, raised her children in New Fairfield, Connecticut, and now resides in Pawling, N.Y., which allows her to serve Northern Fairfield County and Litchfield County in Connecticut, as well as Dutchess County, Putnam County and Westchester County, all in New York.
