My Personal Story:

I was 21 years old when I purchased my first home. It was a 1920's 520 sqft basement condo (which my parents dubbed "the bomb shelter"). It was truly a home that only its owner could love! It cost a mere $100,000 - but to me and my hourly wage, that was a fortune! What should have been an exciting experience for me, at times felt like a battle for attention because my sale wasn't lucrative enough for anyone involved to want to devote energy to it. This made my first experience one full of anxiety and frustration rather than one full of the excitement of being a first time homeowner.

This experience has shaped my entire vision on how I treat others on a personal and professional level. 

 

Attitude

I believe that having a genuine and sincere agent is the most important asset in ensuring your transaction closes without a hitch. Fostering loyalty and trust in my relationships is my #1 priority. Success can happen quickly and efficiently (and it can seem effortless!) when you work with someone who listens to you, communicates with you, educates you, and genuinely cares about your personal and financial goals. Enthusiasm, motivation, and a desire to people-please are the key ingredients to having an agent who will work for you from start to finish.

 

I listen. I represent and negotiate in your best interest.   I keep you on track. I oversee the flow between all of the following on your behalf: your lender, inspector, appraiser, the other principal & their agent, title and escrow, to ensure that all deadlines are met and no ones signals get crossed. I continuously further my education and stay informed on changes in building codes, zoning, and real estate law. I come with a team of professionals and referrals to services you may need, all of whom will ensure that nothing is missed.

Experience

I joined the John L. Scott office in 2008. I come from a background of 11 years at Nordstrom in sales, advertising, project management and finally financial planning. Nordstrom is the steward of exceptional customer service, and I will apply this quality of service and servant leadership to my role in Real Estate.

Certifications

I am now 30 years old and a 2nd time homebuyer. Through my experience at such a young age buying my first condo at 21, my aim is to be Seattle's friendly face for first time homebuyers. I am currently working on a first time homebuyer program that will launch in the Spring of 2009.
