Get to know Shelley deMontesquiou
Shelley started her career-life in nursing, specializing in pediatrics, obstetrics and public heath. She then went to law school and earned her JD. She practiced law in a variety of areas to include Professional Liability such as Medical Negligence, and Construction Defect Litigation dealing with Contractors and Subcontractors and the Building Industry. She married Paul deMontesquiou, Esq., and they practiced law together. They have 5 children to include a set of twins. She is co-author of the popular book "Heart to Heart" written about the first year of life with twins.
Shelley and Paul had always had a real estate "hobby" and enjoyed remodeling homes. So, together they took on yet another career as Realtors, although Paul maintained his law practice until his recent passing.
With her background in redesign, she naturally sought her Staging certification. With a background as a Nurse Captain in the Air Force, she specializes in Milititary Residential real estate as well. She also specializes in Relocation and has received other Certifications to help buyers and sellers Shelley is licensed in NC and SC and has national membership as a REALTOR.
Shelley loves to work with both sellers and buyers. Shelley's mantra for listing is "It is all about the 3 P's: Price, Pictures, and Presentation." Her philosophy for both buyers and sellers is "it is all about the BIG "P": Process." She focuses on the process, and being there to walk clients through the full process.
Shelley works in partnership with Kim Lynip. They practice RELATIONAL Real Estate! Working with clients is about having a relationship of trust, communication and fun!
