My name is Bret Munk and I am a Realtor® serving the gorgeous California central coast including Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo counties.
My purpose is to act as your agent on your behalf, to ensure that your best interest is maintained in all aspects of every real property transaction. I am absolutely committed to precision and exactitude.
In addition to the legal aspects of real estate, I excel at marketing. I specialize in staging and professionally photographing each listing, and I certify that aesthetics have been addressed to maximize attractiveness. All listings are marketed at a local, state, countrywide, and global level.

I am a happily married husband and father who relishes life on the breathtaking California central coast. But my journey in life did not start here...
I was born and raised in Austin, TX in a tiny suburb called Pflugerville. I grew up on a few hundred acres where I spent much time on a tractor shredding the pasture, hauling hay, feeding cattle, and thrashing motocross. I raced BMX and I played a variety of team sports, most notably baseball for which I was groomed to become a professional.
A knee injury derailed my pro athlete pursuits and I picked up a guitar. I was hooked! I went on to study music in college with a focus on recording engineering and live sound reinforcement. I connected with many notable musicians during this period and was involved in the emergence of a genre known as “Industrial Metal.” Many of my old colleagues still tour to this day.
I gently disengaged from music and ventured further into technology where I acquired an array of technical certifications. I became heavily involved in IT and I have held various engineering positions in the world of computer technology.
As life has evolved so have I, and at nearly 40 years of age I am positively in love with real estate sales and service. My previous experience as a loan officer, fused with my enthusiasm for people and technology compliment my purpose, which is to help others realize and attain their goals and dreams.
