I have been helping clients for over 18 years with their financial affairs and pride myself in being honest. Most of my business comes from referrals from past clients, as they know the value of working with someone who has their best interests at heart. So if you have questions or are in the market to refinance or purchase a home, please let the expertise and experience of my team help you.  Financing of a home may be one of the largest transactions that you will make in your lifetime. I have a team with over 150 years of combined experience (andthat is just the people that will work on my files) here to make your transaction as smooth and painless as possible. Often you will find information about where someone works, neighborhoods, communities, cities, or states in this section.  I've decided that instead of doing the same old thing I would tell you a little about some of the things I enjoy doing.

I love to do "spur of the moment"...  Just when you think that it is going to be a quiet weekend or evening, someone asks you to join them or you see something or some place that makes you want to get out of the house or out of town.  Have your "go bag" ready, toothbrush, deodorant, change of clothes, and you’re off.  Sometimes it's not to that extent.  It might just be dinner with friends or better yet, people you just met.  Either way, I have some of the best memories from doing the "spur of the moment" adventures.

I also enjoy being outdoors, camping, mountain biking, running, just about any kind of organized athletic event, and pretty much anything that has to do with water.  Recently I had a little set back to my ego.  I've typically been the guy who is good at everything I do athletically, the go to person.  It was not uncommon for me to be the team captain.  Then it happened.  A group of us showed up to a friend’s house and they were playing Ultimate Frisbee.  We got out of the vehicle, walked over to where the game was being played and we were asked if we wanted to join.  Of course we said yes, and then someone asked how to split up the teams since there were 8 of us now.  One of the "young guns" said "old guys and the young guys".  I looked around the group and saw that there were only 3 old guys, but 5 of us young guys.  Then it hit me; I was lumped into the old guys group!  Ahhhh!  Could it be true, had I really passed that point?  I decided I wouldn't make a scene, and I would "show them" I wasn't one of the old guys.  Without going into specific detail, we, the old guys, were out run, out jumped, and out of wind by the end of the game.  Yes, I am now going to acknowledge the fact that I belong in the "old guys" group.  However, with age comes wisdom, and we beat them 6 to 3, game called due to low light conditions.  I believe their last 2 points came because our eyes couldn't see the disc anymore...

So back to what I do…  I also volunteer in almost any capacity.  I've built book shelves to create a library, cut down trees for people who couldn't do it themselves and couldn't afford to hire someone, built a 40 foot wheelchair ramp with the Texas Ramps Project, raised money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society with Team in Training, worked the Toys for Tots at local malls (I spent some time in the Marine Corps as well), been a Junior Achievement instructor, role played a crazy person for cadets going through a Sheriff's academy, organized and hosted a charity golf tournament in conjunction with the fire department raising over $13,000 for burn victims, and have been involved in multiple funeral services participating in the Color Guard to the 21 Gun Salute.  I've found that volunteering has given me more satisfaction than almost anything else I do.
