Scott's background in marketing, his high personal integrity, and genuine love of helping people contribute to his success in real estate. In 1995 he formed the The Bechtel Group to offer clients an extensive customer service staff and system.
Scott's 26 years in real estate and a degree in marketing has helped him become "Your #1 Resource for Real Estate Services" in our area. He was in the top 1% of the Champaign County MLS and 2nd in the board in 2008. Scott was awarded Top Operating Principal for Keller Williams Mid American Region in 2008. The Bechtel Group received Platinum Group Awards in 2007 and 2008 from Keller Williams Realty.
In October of 2006, Scott and six realtor-partners opened Keller Williams Realty, The Real Estate Center of Illinois, LLC where he is the Operating Partner and Managing Broker. Representing both residential and investment clients within The Bechtel Group, he brings a new level of professionalism to your real estate transaction. Scott is also constantly working to add to his knowledge of current market trends both locally and nationwide and then sharing this information with his clients. He is also active on real estate action panels within Keller Williams.
A life long resident of the area, Scott is involved in the community and is a member of The Parkland College Foundation Board, past member of The Champaign County YMCA Board of Directors, Champaign County Historical Museum and St. Matthew School Steering Committee. Scott and his wife, Lisa Bechtel, have two daughters, Alyssa and Alexandra. Scott is an avid boater and an University of Illinois sports fan. He enjoys snow skiing, travel, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
