I was fortunate to grow up at the Jersey Shore and was able to enjoy everything it has to offer-fishing with my parents, crabbing, going to the beach, surfing, scuba diving, watching fireworks at the boardwalk-if it had to do with the water we did it! Fishing actually turned into my first career at a young age and helped with some of the tuition bills for Flagler College in St Augustine, FL. I earned my accounting degree in 1994, but rather than jump into the corporate world I continued fishing. This gave me the chance to travel around the world to places like Panama, Madeira, Venezuela, Costa Rica and the Caribbean as a mate on a 65 foot sport fishing boat. In 2001, I settled down with my wife Sandy in Brick, NJ and started in the mortgage business in 2002. Now we are raising our own kids at the Shore- our oldest son Ricky and the twins-Jake and Jack. 

The dream of owning a home near the beach is shared by many and this puts me in touch with a wide range of customers. On any given day I may be coaching a first time homebuyer through their first steps of a purchase or discussing the financing of a multi-unit property with a self employed investor. Gaining an understanding of each customer’s unique financial position along with reviewing the proper documentation is critical in order for the financing to move along smoothly. Once a customer’s buying power is determined we need to match them to the mortgage product that best meets their needs. Guaranteed Rate is a direct lender and gives me a wide range of products to work with including conventional and Jumbo mortgages along with FHA, VA and USDA loans.
