Additionally, Ross has over a decade of experience in managing a portfolio of vacation rental properties for international investors. His position as one of South Florida’s leading experts in the operation and management of condo hotels in Miami has led to a keen understanding of the issues facing both the hospitality industry and investment property owners as it relates to vacation rental properties for international investors.

Ross has been deeply involved in policy and regulation reform for short-term rentals, especially for those using peer-to-peer platforms such as Airbnb and HomeAway. Ross utilizes his extensive knowledge on the controversial issue of ‘property takings’ and property rights in Florida, including the Bert J. Harris Act as well as other current, pending and past State legislation. It’s this experience and his ideologies on property rights that influenced him to lead the charge to influence policy together with the “Goldwater Institute,” a non-profit organization aimed at upholding the constitution and protecting citizens’ liberties through advocacy and litigation.

Ross has been a resident of both Miami and Miami Beach for over 15 years. Prior to moving to Miami Beach in the 1990’s, Ross lived and worked in several major cities in the United States and Europe. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management from Switzerland’s Cesar Ritz College and a Master of Science degree in International Real Estate from Florida International University. Ross has been a licensed and active Florida Real Estate Broker since 1999.
