25 years experience in the residential and commercial construction industry, specializing in build durability and energy efficiency. Working in all aspects of construction trades; general contracting, foundation systems, carpentry, electrical, etc. - from laborer to Foreman to business owner and construction manager. Growing up in the construction industry, in a well-known construction family in the mid-Michigan area.

I have a passion for build science and the building industry. Becoming known in the building community as a subject matter expert for residential construction. As Construction Manager with Midland County Habitat for Humanity, building some of the most efficient and durable homes in Michigan, I am able to research and practice (play with) efficiencies and durability in new & existing homes. Utilizing products & methods in the building industry that are cutting edge.

Currently teach at Greater Michigan Construction Academy in Midland, MI. Teaching vocational trades to student in the industry or looking to get in the industry.
