I am a young at heart (mid-40's) lady, and I have been married for 11 years and have a 5 1/2 year old daughter - oh and two cats, Jasper and Panda.  From 1994 - 2010 I worked in the film & tv industry in Toronto in many different capacities, including producing and production management. I showed my first film at TIFF and garnered a reputation as a strong budgeter - I could budget a production to the final penny - lol!  I left in 2010 as I could no longer handle the long hours and low pay.  I then changed my direction completely and went into home staging- all was going well until I hurt my back again and had to have back surgery (my 3rd). 

In 2011, we adopted our child and I became a stay-at-home mom! 

For the last two years I have been working towards my mortgage agent designation and have also been delving into real estate investing through the rent-to-own strategy.

With my varied experience, I am well versed to work with a buyer as I can put myself into many different shoes and work hard at finding the best deal for them.  

I am looking forward to making connections, establishing myself as a mortgage and investment specialist and building my status on ActiveRain.
