I am totally vested in the Greater State College area which is often called Happy Valley. I attended the State Colllege elementary and secondary schools, and hold a B.S. and M.Ed degrees from Penn State. Following 20 years in the parks and recreation field our family returned to my home town where I held a position for 10 years with the Penn State Alumni Association. In 1994 I became a Realtor.
I was elected to two terms on the State College Borough Council, have been the Pres. of the Centre Co. Assn of Realtors, am past chairman of the State Colllege Community Land Trust and Interfaith Human Services organization.
My wife Jane and I are both members of the S.C.Kiwanis Club and the ST. Paul's United Methodist Church choir.
Although they don't mean much to real estate laymen, I hold several real estate designations including Senior Real Estate Specialist, Certified Real Estate Specialist, am a Graduate of the Real Estate Institute, and hold the E-Pro designation.
I own and personally manage two and four unit rental properties and have the experience in advising potential investment property clients.
A specialty I have honed for twenty years has been to assist senior real estate clients with the marketing of the homes.
Past President of the Centre County Associaton of Realtors, and their Realtor of the Year for Community Service.
