There are over a million real estate agents in the United Sates? Why should you choose me?
First of all, I am the somewhat rare agent that works "full time." Many agents only enter the profession because it is convenient. I always put my client's interest first. I can actually be flexible because I don't "have to pick up the kids from school or go to a soccer game, etc."
Secondly, real estate is my second career. After 30 years of success in the retail and general business community, I have learned many things that can be directly applied to the real estate industry.
Third, I am a native of central North Carolina. (If you want to buy or sell property at the coast or in the mountains, I know enough to realize that I do not have the expertise to help you in those areas, but I can find a competent agent in the right area and refer you to him/her.) I know Alamance County like the back of my hand and have a good working knowledge of surrounding counties.
All that said, I cannot do anything any other real estate agent can do, I can only strive to do those things better!

While working with all areas of residential sales, I have found my niche to be moderate to higher priced properties. I really stumbled into this several years ago when I realized the need for a unique subdivision in Alamance County. I saw the need for a community with building lots to accomodate larger homes, all on one level. Thus, I found the target property, found investors, developed the property, and sold the lots. All this in the 80's before most people saw the need for larger homes on one level. AND, I did this before I even became a licensed real estate agent!
Thinking ahead of the curve is imperative in this business. Knowing the right questions to ask, and where to get the answers, and Anticipating potential problems or concerns are paramount.
While not my main area of expertise, I also work with commerical properties. Commercial Real Estate is a "whole different game" from residential. Again, I gained the most experience by selling my own property to a commercial entity. That was a five-year plan that turned into a 17-year ordeal, but was very rewarding (470% return). I apply that experience to every transaction in which I am invloved.
