Knowlegeable of most all phases of real estate, from analysis, research, actual search, contract, followup after contract, details done b-4 settlement, presettlement, settlement, FOLLOWUP AFTER SETTLEMENT. Understanding stress of all the previous phases of a real estate transaction is utmost in my mind. I have a idiom re: real estate-introduction-initial date-courtship-marriage, then a mutually agreed upon annulment parting as friends (Clients). For many years this process has been successful for me.

While in northern VA was very active in local government-citizens's committee for over one year changing the county sign ordinance after fellow agent was charged with a FELONY in unautherized placing of a real estate sign. Very unprofessional laws were changed completely with Property owners' rights being brought under scrutiny and upgraded. Was on legislative committee of local Realtors' Association total of time in nothern VA, chairman last three years. Also on Board of Trustees of local Realtors' Association for three years.

Broker since 1992. Achieved ABR, GRI, and CRS designations while in northern VA.

Now licensed in North Carolina and South Carolina since 2000 upon move to SC.

I am experienced in both buyer agency and subagent for the seller. Buyer agency was not not even known when I began in real estate in the very early 80s. Specialties include single family homes, both new and resale, condos, townhomes, land, homesites, farms, oceanfront properties and even manufactured homes on owned land.

Have marketed property in the north of the Grand Strand (Myrtle Beach, North Myrtle Beach, Little River and Longs in SC; same areas in NC. Have also gone west to all places between the ocean and Loris, SC and in Brunswick County in NC right across the state line. Known as the Borderbelt.

Real estate at the beach is quite different from the typical locale where I have previously worked. Attitudes differ as many have the misconception that there bargains everywhere, including the beach, even in good times. There can be but much research must be done. So many regulations in relation to the tides, the ocean surges during hurricane season; their relation to the existing laws, insurance coverage, not to say the monthly association charges. This why many must consider all these things and just throw up hands. A conscientious agent must be on her/his toes at every turn and be able to handle those many phases of the ultimate purchase. It is my aim to satisfy those prerequisites in any transaction in which I may participate.
