My love for saving money began when I was seventeen and my first car insurance policy was up for renewal.

I vividly remember my renewal rate doubling when I got that letter in the mail. I called other national insurance companies like Allstate and Progressive and they all gave me much lower quotes. I signed up with Allstate at a rate that was just higher than my original poilcy with State Farm.

I called State Farm to cancel my policy and guess what they did? They renewed my policy at the old rate for me by processing my renewal as a "new customer".

I was dumbfounded by what they were doing and my love for being frugal was born. My mission is now to help people save money on their insurance policies by convincing them to shop around.

I have no finanial stake in this. I just enjoy it, so that's what I do.
