Eric C. Perkins is founding owner of the law firm Perkins Law, PLLC, in Richmond, Virginia.  His practice focuses on real estate securities offerings, franchising, nonprofit organizations, business start-ups, and general business law and transactional matters.

 Eric has assisted real estate sponsors raise over $1 billion in Regulation D private offerings, including tenants-in-common (TICs), real estate investment trusts (REITs), syndicated limited liability companies, real estate opportunity funds, and promissory note offerings.  In addition, he advises entrepreneurs and business owners on franchising matters, works regularly with tax-exempt organizations on a variety of corporate, tax, and compliance issues, and represents clients in the sports entertainment field.

Eric is an author and lecturer on a variety of securities and business law topics. He is author of "The Essential Legal Guide for the Professional Wrestler," published by AuthorHouse and a co-author of the Virginia CLE handbook "Contract Law in Virginia."
