Get to Know Patti Smylie

Growing up in the San Francisco Bay area,  I have fond memories of walking in the vineyards just a couple doors down from my first home in Livermore. In the early 70's the vineyards were ripped out for the home community I would someday live in as an adult. Now everywhere there is space designated to returning vineyards around homes and trails. We've come full circle in the valley. Striviing hard to keep the things around that reflect our traditions, while trying to serve an ecclectiic population who require a diverse type of shelter and residence.

After graduation from college, I returned to the Tri-Valley to work in advertising and marketing eventually returning to school to become a teacher. I taught elementary grades in Pleasanton, Livermore and San Lorenzo throughout the 90's and became licensed in real estate in the new millenium after discovering a long burning desire ignighted, when I moved myself.  Working as a Certified Residential Specialist affiliated with Re/Max Accord has given me the opportunity of practicing real estate in the market that I know deeply. Using all of the skills I possess has provided benefits to my cliients on how to position and market properties and how to find those hidden gems everyone is looking for in the communitiy. It is a pleasure to work towards a goal of achieving an advantageous sale and/or a strategic purchase. Gratification comes from helping individuals, families and partners make smart decisions about when, where, what and how,  while always keeping why in the forefront of the process. Real estate acquistions and sales must make good sense and provide the client with realized benefits at the time of the purchase and beyond.

A resident since 1967, Smylie's passion for engineering deals that help her clients negotiate advantageously in the market is the what motivates her internally.
