My name is Pat Fischer and I specialize in helping people like you buy, sell, and invest in real estate in the Northern Virginia area.  I specialize in the following areas:  Springfield, Burke, Lorton, Fairfax Station, and Kingstowne (in Alexandria).

I have been in the real estate field for over 10 years.  Prior to becoming a Realtor, I was a licensed Residential Real Estate Appraiser, appraising homes for mortgage lenders and relocation companies.  I also have 10 years of experience in the marketing field.  This combined experience of real estate appraising and marketing has been very valuable in my real estate sales career.  My knowledge of appraising has provided me with the expertise to determine the right asking price to sell a home, and as any experienced agent will tell you, pricing a home correctly is one of the key factors in selling your home.  On the buying side, I am able to give my buyers guidance in analyzing market value and neighborhood trends to insure they are making a good investment. I create a unique marketing strategy for each individual home I list, and I use all media outlets to market my listings, including internet marketing.

I work at EXIT Realty Associates, a people-oriented organization that supports real estate knowledge through education, training programs and teamwork.  EXIT gives me the opportunity to learn the latest technology and work with other realtors in a cooperative teamwork atmosphere.  My personal motto is “knowledge, service, and integrity” and EXIT allows me to conduct my business while keeping these principles a priority.

I am originally from Pennsylvania and I graduated with a Bachelors degree in Marketing from Penn State University.  I love to play tennis and also enjoy reading and travel.  My husband John and I have lived for over 20 years in Burke, where we raised our two daughters.  I am very familiar with the neighborhoods, schools, parks, shopping centers, and transportation systems in the Northern Virginia area.  I primarily work in Springfield, Burke, Lorton, Fairfax Station, and Kingstowne, but I can help you with your real estate needs anywhere in the Northern Virginia area   I have found real estate sales to be a very rewarding career because I love helping clients through the sometimes complicated process of selling or buying a home.  After a closing, I love seeing buyers and sellers so happy that they have achieved their dream of owning the house they love or have sold a house and can now move on with their lives.  Please call me if I can answer any questions or help you with your real estate needs.
