Growing up in nearby coastal Edenton, North Carolina, the Outer Banks became my home in 1982. I have explored just about every area the Outer Banks has to offer. From underwater scuba diving, fishing and canoeing to trail riding with my horses. I worked at the North Carolina Aquarium for 13 years and came to appreciate and understand the coastal and environmental issues of the Outer Banks.
