Feeling that you can never know too much; I've invested in my real estate education, earning several designations, which allows me to competently guide my clients through the buying or selling process.  A big believer in home ownership, I have owned 6 homes - including 4 single family and two multi-family investment homes.  My own experiences buying and selling a home have given me great empathy for how stressful the whole experience can be, and I strive to make the move as smooth as possible.

My affiliations include:  the Real Estate Buyer's Agent Council (REBAC), the Council of Residential Specialiats (CRS), the Real Estate Cyberspace Society, the Senior Advantage Real Estate Council, the National Association of Realtors, the Massachusetts Association of Realtors, and the North Shore Association of Realtors.

Designations include: CRS (Certified Residential Specialist), GRI (Graduate, Realtor Institute), ABR (Accredited Buyer Respresentative), ePRO, SRES (Seniors Real Estate Specialist), and RECS (Real Estate Cyberspace Specialist).  While with Coldwell Banker, I earned their New Home Specialist and Certified Negotiation Specialist designations.

Originally from upstate New York, I've lived in (and loved) the North Shore for 20 years - living in Hamilton, Salem, and Beverly (where I currently reside).   My husband and I enjoy boating, skiing, and hiking the North Shore's many nature trails with our collie, Casey.  It's easy to recommend the North Shore for its accessibility to the ocean, its access to commuter routes and commuter rail, its proximity to Boston, and its nature and hiking trails.  It's truly a joy to sell homes in an area I feel so passionate about.

Certifications

I believe in thoroughly understanding my client's needs.  When listing a home, it's important to have an understanding regarding how your home will be marketed, and the time frame and price needed to get you where you want to go.

Buyers, too, have unique needs.  Whether buying that first home, down-sizing, moving to your next home, or buying an investment property, it's important that I understand your priorities. 

The use of technology in my business allows me to reply to your e-mails from my phone, put virtual tours on the internet, burn CD's of your home's virtual tour to give out at open houses, and find that home we've driven by on the internet - from my car.

That being said, I have clients who don't own a computer and who don't use e-mail.  Though all these tech tools allow me to do a lot of things better and faster, it's still the human touch that I value the most.  I'll be that person that is there when you need me and will return your phone calls promptly.  Real Estate is a satisfying career because of the people I've met.
