Nelson's Story on How He Got Started in the Real Estate Industry.


Before launching a career in real estate, Nelson was a successful sales professional in the telecommunications industry for Pacific Bell and Cox Communications where he received a number of awards and certificates which distinguished him professionally for years.

In 2004, Nelson bought his first property which he and his wife call their first home. During that real estate transaction he was exposed to the real estate industry and developed a strong interest in it. Two months later, the brokerage firm where he bought his first home, offered him a job as a Real Estate Marketing Manager, which he accepted. He then gained foundational experience in real estate marketing and sales.

Nelson also volunteered to assist in transaction management for one of the top real estate agents in the brokerage to get more experience. Just a couple of months later, Nelson passed the state exam and received his Real Estate license from the California Department of Real Estate.  Three months later he officially joined the board of REALTORS® thus becoming a member of NAR, CAR, PSAR, and NAHREP.

Now, years later, after having managed sales teams in both the telecommunications field and in real estate, Nelson has discovered that his true passion is to be directly involved in helping renters become homeowners and homeowners become real estate investors.

Aside from Real Estate, Nelson enjoys Latin ballroom dancing, technology, and playing music. He is happily married and a proud father of two beautiful kids.
