National Event Rental is a Texas LLC, based in Austin. It was officially founded in January 2008, although the concept and work began before that. The idea was to consolidate the scattered event rental sites into one main site. Various test projects were run to validate our concept, and they did indeed prove there is a market for this service.

I, Bill Solominsky, founded the company shortly after graduating from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas with my MBA. I also have an Electrical and Computer Engineering degree from Carnegie Mellon Universtiy. It was my time spent both in Florida after college, and in Austin, where I concieved the idea for National Event Rental. I watched the real estate market soar to unprecedented heights in the early 2000s in Florida, and I saw the excitment it generated for the non-real estate professional looking to make a splash. Many people bought homes with the hopes of not flipping, but renting to make a steady profit. I could also see the buzz that accompanied the Superbowl in Jacksonville, Daytona Bike Weeks, and Austin City Limits and SXSW here in Austin. After brainstorming and researching many ideas for the best opportunity to combine my technical and business background with the existing and quickly changing real estate market, National Event Rental was born.

With this company, my goal is to help not only landlords and property managers match their vacation rentals for these special events with quality renters, but also to help people that may be having a tough time trying to sell a home. Rents in certain locations can sometimes excede that of a monthly mortgage payment. That is a huge lift to many of the homeowners whose homes have been sitting on the market for months.
