When you do business with John Kaloostian, you will keep coming back for more. For many years John Kaloostian has made people want to return and do business with him. One of his expressions is "if you don't like it, send it back." Although not many people did. He was a successful restaurant owner in New Jersey and New York City for many years. It did not matter what type of food he served, because he had the right formula. "Start with a good attitude and respect for your client's needs and you can hardly miss". And John did that in dealing with everyone. Start At the Bottom. You can only go up! John started working at a young age in delicatessens and supermarkets. When he was old enough he worked as a waiter and a busboy. and, started learning how to deal with people. When the Viet Nam war started, he was drafted and upon returning home, he went to college on the GI Bill. While attending Rutgers University, he tended bar in local clubs and restaurants for extra money and got his real estate license. John had a young family at the time and chose to devote full time to managing restaurants because of the weekly paycheck. He soon opened his first of many successful restaurants, but always thought about going back into the real estate business someday. John Kaloostian is one of the most dedicated and committed people you will ever meet. 8 years ago, when John decided to return to the real estate business he first went to 26 weeks of computer school and then to 20 weeks of real estate school. He realized that in order for his clients to invest in real estate, they had to trust his judgment, and for that to happen, he had to know as much as possible. He still attends classes and seminars whenever he has the time. He attends courses such as 1031 exchange practices, critical financing technology, or local property zoning changes. He also learns about building codes as it applies to the needs of his clients´ safety and investments.
On my team, we rely on the amount of information we can find to do a proper job, depending on our client' s needs. If the data is out there we will find it. The most important thing is for everyone involved in the deal to be compatible and comfortable with each other. Everyone wins or there is no deal.
I have worked and lived in Southwest Florida for 7 years. I came from the metropolitan area of New york City and owning successful restaurants made me a service fanatic. Failure is not an option.
